 About Rachel

Rachel is a graduate of Sonoma State University's music program. She holds a B.A. in Music Education and Vocal Performance, and is a graduate of the Sonoma State credential program in K-12 music. While at SSU Rachel was a recipient of the Everett B. Person and the Marin Music Chest scholarships. Rachel is a former voice student of Ruth Ann Swenson and believes that making and appreciating music is a birthright that belongs to everyone.

Rachel has an enthusiastic, creative, and fun approach to learning Singing, Guitar, and Ukulele! She has a bright, engaging personality and makes every student feel at ease. Rachel is passionate about inspiring children to explore their world through music!

Ms. Steiner is a Sonoma County native, she has performed as a Soprano soloist with various companies and venues around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, including The Lamplighters, Ukiah Symphony, Jarvis Conservatory, The Green Music Center, River Opera, and the Dominican Chorale.
