About Charylu

Charylu Roberts is a classically trained pianist, she has been playing the piano since she was four years old.

She has performed on the piano from the age of 15 (ragtime piano at Shakeys Pizza parlor!) and she has played all over the U.S. and several other countries, including Japan, Mexico, and Aruba. 

Charylu even played piano in Alaska with a Top 40 band. 

She has played classical music for several ballet companies as an accompanist and has performed in the orchestra pits of musical theater productions throughout San Francisco.

She enjoys teaching piano—especially to beginners—and loves watching each student grow and stretch their skills. 

​Charylu is hoping to impart a love for music and joy of playing that will last a lifetime.
